Then……

WOW, it is amazing to think of the love that God has for all of us?  I grew up not knowing of His love.  Not knowing that there was someone who loved me more than I would ever understand. I surrendered my life to Jesus in 2002 and since then I have found HIS LOVE and it has been amazing!   One year after giving my life to Jesus, I felt a call on my life that was absolutely indescribable.   God spoke to me and put a passion in my heart to share the love of Jesus with everyone, but especially our youth.  At that time, I was only eighteen years old and thought….”how can I do this - I’m just a kid myself?” But, I let all the fears and worries go, put my trust in the Lord, and began my world of youth ministry!   I began serving as a youth leader almost immediately at Eastwood Forest and it has been quite a rewarding experience.

Now……

At the end of 2008, I was asked by the church to be the youth pastor.  It was one of the most special days in my life as a Christian.  My passion as youth pastor of Eastwood Forest is to create an intense learning and worship experience for all those who attend every week.  I have a ton of energy and love to get them pumped up and excited about serving the Lord every week. The goal is to create an experience that leads to a lasting change in their lives that they can share with the whole world. We strive every week to encourage, motivate, and teach them to follow the Lord.  I envision the youth of today believing they are a chosen generation that can accomplish all things through Christ that strengthens us!  At Eastwood Forest, we desire to see individuals excel in both life and their Christian walk with Jesus.
