
Jesus said that he came not to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45-“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.".)
At Eastwood Forest, we take that value as our own. We find it important not only serve inside the church but also outside the church in our community. By serving our community, we have the unique opportunity of fellowshipping with our church family while reaching out to those who may not know Jesus or welcoming one who is seeking a church “home”. We believe that when people serve each other, the church and the community benefit from each person's skills, talents and passions.
We have several community events that we continue to host on a regular basis but we are always striving to do more in our community for Jesus. Some of the things we do:

Vacation Bible School – a week long opportunity for all ages to attend evening bible school during the summer. Usually held the week before school starts back in August.
Church Prom – dress up in your formal attire for an evening of food, fun and dancing with all ages from 12 to senior citizens! Held as announced each year.
Homecoming – a celebration of our church family. All current, former, and future church members are invited to fellowship, worship and eat. Usually held in October of each year.
Trunk or Treat – A safe alternative to traditional Trick or Treating! Cars parked in the lot of the church parking lot offer treats to everyone who stops by! Food, fun and games. Held October 31st from dusk till 9pm.
Special Christmas Services – Service including special songs and skits to celebrate the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Held as announced in December of each year.
Special Easter Services – Service including special songs and skits to commemorate the resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Held as announced in spring each year.
July 4th Celebration – a cookout, singing, and ice cream social for anyone who wants to attend.
