Men’s Ministry

At Eastwood, we feel that men have an awesome opportunity to be living examples of God’s love to our community.  Our vision is to help equip men to be spiritual leaders of their households, churches, and even their jobs.  This world is in desperate need of men who are willing to be “real” disciples of our Lord and now is the time to impact it for generations to come!  We believe that God needs men who are unashamed to proclaim his word and who will honor God with both their hearts and lives daily.  Please check out some of our activities that bring us together every month.

 
Softball
All men in the church age 14 and up are encouraged to come out and play softball!  This is an excellent opportunity for all the guys to come together as a team and to fellowship with one another.  It does not matter where your softball playing ability ranks, but what matters is that you come out to uplift the Lord and have a great time with us.  Over the years, it has been an excellent opportunity for our guys to grow in the Lord and to fellowship with other churches in our community.  We would love to have you come out and have some fun with us!  Listed below is more information about the seasons.

Spring Season:  
Practice begins in March and ends in the middle of April.  The season will begin in April and go into the end of June.  All games and practices are on Monday and Thursday nights at various Times.

Fall Season:
Practice begins in August and we begin our season in September.  The season only lasts until mid October, but it is a ton of Fun!  Practices and games are all on Monday and Thursday nights at various times.

Guys Morning Out
This is a monthly breakfast that we do at least one Saturday a month at our church.  The breakfast is held in our fellowship hall at 8:30 am and it is open to guys of all ages. In fact, we really encourage men to come to breakfast with their younger sons as well.  These events always end up being an excellent time to uplift God and each other.   The most important part of all is that we have a special guest speaker each month that shares God’s word.  We leave the breakfast full from both the great food and God’s word.  We would love to see you this month for food, fun, and fellowship.
